By around two centimetres in the width of the bodice. If you are between two sizes, take the smaller one and open the lacing a little.

How do I find the right size?

Eight sizes in a classic cut. Take your usual size. Exchanges are free both ways for 30 days.

Do I need an underskirt?

No. The skirt is backed and stands on its own. A blouse underneath is part of the classic look, but that is a matter of taste.

Can I machine wash it?

Yes. Cold, delicate cycle, inside out, then dried on a hanger. Please wash the apron separately.

Does the dirndl look like a costume?

Deliberately not. The cut and the colours are understated, so it wears like a dress and not like a costume.

Material & care

A firm outer fabric that holds its shape, with an apron in a lighter material. The skirt is backed so it stands on its own.

Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle, inside out, then dry on a hanger. Wash the apron separately.
